Measuring VO2 Max 

At Altitude we do clinical-grade VO2 Max testing with the PNOE device, which directly measures the volume and gas concentrations of inspired and expired air as you perform a maximal exercise test.

The test is done at sea-level and can be performed on your cardio equipment of choice: bike or treadmill. Although the test itself only takes around 12-15 minutes, an hour is typically needed for warm-up, the parameter check and going through the results afterwards. Following the test, you’ll receive a report with metrics including:

  • VO2 Max Score
  • Heart Rate Peak
  • Heart Rate Training Zones
  • Aerobic & Anaerobic Thresholds
