If you are a competitive athlete no matter the sport you participate in or just want to be in top shape ,Altitude is where you want to train. My partner and I joined the Gym in February 2023 in order to prepare for our Kilimanjaro climb. I was 6 months post a knee replacement and I was able to rehab my knee and successfully complete the climb in July 2023. We have continued to train at 9000 feet in gym and I am in the best shape of my life. The facility is immaculate and the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. So, if you want to be at the top of your physical game – join Altitude.

We found Altitude a year and and half ago in our search for a gym to help us train and get ready for climbing Kilimanjaro in the summer of 2023. This is the only facility of its kind currently in Toronto and we can honestly say by training at various altitudes in the months leading up to our climb, it allowed us to successfully summit Kili without any altitude issues!! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive and have created a wonderful fitness community to be a part of. I’m happy to be able to continue my training here as I work towards my bigger mountain climbs!! I highly recommend this gym for anyone who is looking to take their fitness level up a notch.

Hands down the best gym in Toronto. I’ve trained here for Aconcagua and Ama Dablam, and l will certainly train here before my next expedition. The staff are always friendly and ensure that you are having a good time. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and are dedicated to helping you reach your training goals. I found this top-notch and one-of-a-kind gym during preparation for some difficult high-altitude hiking trails and this is the only place in Toronto/Ontario that mimics the oxygen level at higher altitude. The 3 different altitude schedule throughout the day covers all your need. And if requested, other specialty equipment would be provided to help achieve my goal. I’ve joined the club for almost a year now, and till this day, I am still constantly amazed by the knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff, always tidy and clean environment. You know you would be taken great care of her, regardless of your goal being improving body responses to exercise / increasing endurance / enhancing performance in competitions / increasing aerobic capacity / better lactic acid capacity, or simply finding peers who share your passion.

I trained here for a month ahead of a 6,500m trek to get get a head start on the acclimatization process and work on overall fitness. Couldn’t have been happier with the results. The trek went great and I didn’t have any issues with altitude sickness, not even a slight headache.

The staff here are all great – they take care of you and check in regularly to ensure you’re feeling good and progressing well towards your training goal.

Can’t wait to come back ahead of my next trek in 2024!
